The Kids Company pays a lot of attention to working with a variety of activities and themes for the children, appropriate to their age. These activities are intended for childcare (0-4 years), toddlers and after-school care (4+). Themes that appeal to the imagination are addressed, covering all areas of development. We also sometimes invite an expert or go for a visit. At our childcare, the children play outside a lot. They enjoy exercising, nature and the animals around them.
Developmental areas
Everything we offer is based on our pedagogical policy and can be substantiated. We match themes and activities to the developmental stage of each child and ensure that we cover all developmental aspects on a weekly basis.
Fixed and special themes
In addition to the seasons and holidays, our annual activities include the theme week and the week of pedagogy. During children’s book week and the national reading days, extra attention is paid to reading, often with guest speakers being invited. We also regularly come up with new themes, including singing, moving, reading and crafts.
